Fatima Hassar (Benedictine and the moor, p155)

“It had been organized by the Moroccans and consisted of Berber dances and songs. Governor Aherdane read his poems, and Minister Driss MTHammedi played the tambourine. Governor Aherdane also danced, and all the Moroccan students, as well as everyone else, joined in. In fact, one of the Benedictine fathers (Dom Placide) also danced with complete abandon. All who was there that evening brought away an unforgettable memory of what they experienced.”
